Developing the Young Workforce National Programme

Developing the Young Workforce is a national programme that aims to better prepare children and young people aged 3-18 for the world of work. We have made this one of our improvement priorities for this session.

There are 5 key skills identified as important for the world of work:

1) Working with others

2) Problem solving

3) Communication

4) Employability

5) Self-awareness

We would like to work on developing two of these skills this year. The children and Parent Council have been consulted and now we would like all parents and carers to have a voice in which two we work on. Please vote by ticking the two skills you think we should start with developing across the school. We will then collate all the votes and inform you of the outcome.

Thank you for your support.
