 Walk In The Glen

As part of our Health Week we are planning a walk in the glen on Tuesday 21^st April 2015.

The walk will be a circuit within Roslin Glen Country Park and we hope to be accompanied by a Midlothian Country Park Ranger.  Bilston Annexe children will set off from school at 9:15am, travel by bus to Rosslyn Chapel and then proceed with the walk.  We would encourage all children to bring with them a small bottle of water for them to drink along the way. Each child will receive a piece of fruit at the end of the walk, provided by the Parent Council.  Due to the route we will be taking it should be noted that toilet facilities will be at a minimum, therefore we will encourage all children to use the school facilities prior to leaving.  Bilston Annexe children will be return to the Annexe at 11:30am.

Parents have been very generous this year raising money for i-pads, therefore, we are not asking for sponsor money, but any small donation from children will be gratefully received and put towards school resources.

Please ensure children are suitably dressed for this activity, although if it is raining heavily on the day of the walk, we will postpone and try again on Tuesday 28^th April 2015.

We are looking for many helpers on the day, therefore, if you can help please contact the school office or the class teacher.
