Solar Eclipse: Fri 20 March

We would like to make you all aware of the upcoming solar eclipse, details of which can be found at http://timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/uk/edinburgh?iso=20150320 

These are extremely rare events, occurring approximately once every 20 years and as this one occurs on Friday between 9 am and 10 am.  Teaching staff will highlight the event in various ways depending on the year group.  Even if it is cloudy, there will be a 95% reduction in daylight for a period of 5 minutes at 9.35 am
