School Farewell
We have been in discussion with the Parent Council on how important it is that we recognise the end of an era in our present school building. We plan to mark this occasion with two events to bring together pupils, parents, staff and community to celebrate.
Monday 26 June 9-10.30am and 1.30-6.00pm – Picture Gallery and Refreshments
This is an open invitation to all parents/carers and community to come to school to view our gallery of photos and memories. Refreshments will also be available. Donations of home-baking are very welcome. If you have any home-baking, please drop off at school on Monday morning. Thank you.
Monday 26 June 12.15-1.15pm – House Picnic Lunch in School Grounds
We will all enjoy (weather permitting) a picnic packed lunch in the school grounds in our houses. Parents/carers are welcome to bring their own packed lunch and join their children for this event. If it is raining we will enjoy our picnics in the classroom area. Can parents please meet in the gym hall before the picnic.
Wednesday 28 June – Piper
To wish our departing P7 pupils well for high school and to say farewell to the building from the rest of the school, the P7’s will be piped out and P3-6 will follow P7 out of the school at 3.15pm. P1-2 will be collected by parents/carers at 3.00pm from their normal exit and are very welcome to go round to the top area exit door to see the piped procession.
