Roslin Primary School Harvest Festival 2016
Dear Parent/Carer
This year P4 are organising our harvest celebration. We have chosen to
support The Trussell Trust which has a foodbank in Midlothian. It helps
provide food parcels for families who do not have enough to eat.
The Trussell Trust is running a combined harvest appeal and is asking for donations of
food.
We are asking all our pupils to help us by bringing in a small donation of food. The types
of food needed are:
Cereal Beans Packs of dried food
Pasta Soup Pasta sauces
UHT Milk Tinned vegetables Coffee
Tinned Fruit Tinned meat Biscuits
Rice Tea Sugar
Diluting juice
No glass jars, please.
Please can your children bring in their donations, to their class, by Thursday 6th October?
We will collect from each classroom, each day.
Although the Trussell Trust does take donations of money we are only asking for food. You
