The Romans believed in many different gods.  Different gods could help you with different things.

This report is about Mars, God of War.

Mars, God of War, was very important.  They said that he was the father of Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome.

Mars wore so much armour that he looked like a Roman soldier.

He didn’t care how he won or lost, he just loved to see blood.  The planet Mars and the month of March are named after Mars.
